History of WADAYA
When Japanese native Tomo, returned to Japan, he came across a passionate ramen chef named Toshi.
Chef Toshikazu has been in the industry for over 15 years and has strived to perfect his culinary craft of mazemen noodles. Upon eating Chef Toshi’s mazemen for the first time, Tomo knew that this had to be shared with the rest of the world.
Coming back to America, Tomo and Chef Toshi launched the birth of MoguMogu USA in 2019. Starting in West Los Angeles and expanding to orange county, MoguMogu now has 3 locations throughout southern California.
Tomohiro Wada
Born and raised in Kanagawa. Came to the US in 2011. Bored with plethora of ramen in South California. Tomohiro went back to Japan in 2017 in search for something bold and big. 2018 Tomohiro came back to California with a grand slam and open his first mazemen in 2019. As owner and Chef of Wadaya, Tomohiro is working on spreading the joy of experiencing mazemen across US.
